Abstract
Recently, two cases of osteogenesis imperfecta congenita have been observed at Soon chun hyang University Gumi Hospital. Osteogenesis imperfecta congenita is characterized at birth by multiple fractures, and generalized osteoporosis. Blue
scleras,
osteoscleosis, and relaxed ligaments may also be associated with the condition. It's etiology is unknown but abnormal genesis of bone appears to be a developmental defect of the mesenchyme. Authors recently experienced two cases of osteogenesis
imperfecta congenita belong to infants. Two cases of infants form exhibited severe fractures, and died five days and seven days after birth. We are presenting osteogenesis imperfecta congenita it's pathology and a brief review of the literature.
